The companies operating in Pamukkale Technocity, which provides a basis for research institutions and industrial organizations to carry out research, development and innovation studies together and to create value-added products within Pamukkale University (PAU), are closely followed by the leading companies of the industry. The last example of this was Theca Packaging company, one of the Pamukkale Technocity companies. Operating in the molded cellulosic packaging sector, producing products called viols and designing and manufacturing the necessary machinery and molds for this production, 30 percent of the company's shares were purchased by Mercan Kimya, one of the leading industrial companies in its field.
Mercan Kimya paid 26,354,160.00 TL for the 30 percent shares of Theca Ambalaj, which was established in 2021 within Pamukkale Technocity and gained place in many domestic and foreign markets in a short time, and realized the share transfer.
