New Approaches in Wound Care Discussed at the Symposium

Wounds that occur in the body due to different factors and new approaches used in the treatment of these wounds were discussed at the "Wound Care Symposium" organized by PAU Faculty of Health Sciences. In the symposium held in five separate sessions, expert academics informed the symposium participants about the current developments in wound care from diabetic foot wounds to arterial and venous wounds.
In the symposium, which lasted for one day and was completed in five sessions; wound types, wound evaluation, internal and external factors affecting wound healing, evidence-based practices in preventing pressure sores and pressure ulcers, diabetic, arterial and venous wounds and current developments in wound care were discussed. Expert research in the field provided important information on wound care to the symposium participant healthcare professionals.
