"Fight Against Drugs and Awareness" Training Held at Honaz Vocational School

Pamukkale University (PAU) Honaz Vocational School organized a training on "Fight Against Drugs and Awareness" within the scope of Social Responsibility course.
A training on "Fight Against Drugs and Awareness" was organized at PAU Honaz Vocational School within the scope of Social Responsibility course. School administration, faculty members and students of the Department of Law participated in the training organized in Honaz Vocational School Conference Hall.
PAU Honaz Vocational School Law Department students organized "Fight Against Drugs and Awareness" training in order to raise awareness among students about the fight against drugs as a project of Social Responsibility course. Cemil Özdemir, Deputy Commissioner of Denizli Police Department Narcotics Branch, Aslı Karaoğlan and Afra Akıncı, who work in the Narcotics Branch, were invited as speakers to the event.
In the training; the fight against drugs, criminal responsibilities of substance use, symptoms seen in people who use drugs were explained. Deputy Commissioner Cemil Özdemir explained to the students with visuals that drug use and substance addiction start out of curiosity, wannabe drug users, family problems, personal problems or for fun and the damages it causes to the person and the family during the addiction process.
After the speeches, Honaz Vocational School Director Prof. Dr. Hülya Kabakçı Karadeniz stated that the training organized to raise awareness in the fight against drugs was beneficial for the students and presented certificates of appreciation and gifts to Deputy Commissioner Cemil Özdemir, Aslı Karaoğlan and Afra Akıncı.
