Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences to Reward Successful Academic Studies and Services

The success, service and contributions of the academic and administrative staff and faculty students working within PAU Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in their work and activities; It also prepared an award guide to regulate the principles for evaluating and rewarding the services of its graduates and external stakeholders (persons, institutions, organizations) working for the public good and collaborating with the faculty. While preparing the Faculty's Award Principles, the main goal was to contribute to the incentive system within the institution and to support the interaction between the university and the city, in accordance with the principles of our University's Quality Policy. Within the scope of this guide, it is planned to give awards under various main headings such as Academic Achievement Award, Community Service Award, Contribution Award to the Operations and Activities of the Institution, Academic Loyalty Certificate, High Honor Certificate, Successful Young Academician Award, Academic Promotion Congratulation Certificate, Service to Denizli Award. The guide, which was created by Prof. Dr. Şeyda Sivrioğlu and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Alper Bilgehan Yardimci, members of the Award Guide preparation commission established by the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, by examining different practices in our country's universities, was accepted with the approval of the Faculty Board. In this regard, an Award Commission, which will be selected by the Faculty Board from among the faculty staff and appointed for a period of 3 years, will evaluate the award applications to be made in February every year and determine the names deemed suitable for the award within 3 months. The first of these awards will begin to be given in 2025, based on the services and achievements in 2024. Faculty Dean Prof. Dr. Yasemin Beyazıt congratulated the faculty members for their devoted work in the Award Commission and stated that they have achieved another important success in terms of academic institutionalization.
