Archaeology Students Become 'AFAD VOLUNTEERS'

Pamukkale University Archaeology Department Students received a two-day certified first aid training given by Denizli AFAD and Denizli Provincial Health Directorate first aid trainers within the 'AFAD VOLUNTEER' program.
Thanks to the training they received, the students passed an important stage of the AFAD VOLUNTEER program and qualified for other trainings to be given by AFAD. Thanks to the training they received and other trainings they will receive in order to improve their own awareness, students have taken important steps towards becoming individuals who can provide conscious assistance and intervention in case of need.
Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Department of Archaeology Lect. Assist. Prof. Dr. Koray Alper stated the following on the subject: "I believe that this first aid training will be effective in the preference of students in excavations in addition to their archaeology education. I would like to thank Denizli AFAD and Denizli AFAD Branch Manager Hüseyin Elbeyi, Denizli Provincial Health Directorate first aid trainers, and the lecturers and students of our department who participated in the training."
