Another Great Achievement from PAU Hospital

The kidney transplant team, which has a great share in making the region a leader in both adult and pediatric kidney transplantation, is breaking new ground. On Friday, November 25, the regional symposium of the nationwide "Transplantation Immunology and Genetics Association" (TIGED) will be held under the regional presidency of Professor Dr. Selçuk Yüksel, Vice Rector of our university and faculty member of the Department of Pediatric Nephrology. At the symposium, it is planned to inform the public about the kidney transplantation activities carried out in the region and to expand transplantation studies. Organ Transplant Officer and Chief Physician Prof. Dr. Murat Özban, Head of Pediatric Nephrology Department Assoc. Prof. Dr. İlknur Girişgen, Faculty Member Tülay Becerir, Tissue Typing Officer Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ergun Mete, Head of Nephrology Department Prof. Dr. Belda Dursun and Faculty Member of Nephrology Department Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mevlüt Çeri will also participate in the symposium with their presentations.

It was also stated that there were many applications for participation in the symposium and that the families who donated cadavers at the symposium will be given a certificate of appreciation and a plaque.
