"Ancient Period Medical Center in Tavas Plain: Herakleia Salbake" Conference Held

Pamukkale University (PAU) Tavas Vocational School and Tavas Health Services Vocational School jointly organized a conference on "Ancient Period Medical Center in Tavas Plain: Herakleia Salbake" and a book presentation titled "Tavas in the 100th Year of the Republic" were held.
Within the scope of the promotion of the book Tavas in the 100th Year of the Republic, Kahramanmaraş Sütçü İmam University Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Department of Archaeology, Dr. Mehmet Ok attended the conference as a speaker.
The conference started with the opening speech of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Selim Parlaz, Director of Tavas Vocational School and Tavas Vocational School of Health Services and also the chapter author and editor of the book. The conference continued with the sharing of information about the archaeology, medical history, trade, production and geographical features of the ancient city of Herakleia Salbake by Dr. Mehmet Ok. The conference, which was attended by Tavas District Governor Tarık Yerlikaya, Denizli Museum Director Nail Uyar and many people from the protocol, ended with the presentation of books to the authors of the book Tavas in the 100th Year of the Republic.
