Acıpayam Vocational School Students Visit "Body Worlds: Anatomy of Real Animals Exhibition"

Pamukkale University (PAU) Acıpayam Vocational School (MYO), Laboratory and Veterinary Health Program students visited the "Body Worlds: Anatomy of Real Animals Exhibition" exhibited in 34 countries and 140 different cities.

PAU Acıpayam Vocational School of Veterinary Medicine, Department of Veterinary Medicine, Laboratory and Veterinary Health Program students, together with department lecturers Dr. Mehmet Başeğmez and Duygu Yüksel, visited Body Worlds: Anatomy of Real Animals Exhibition. In this world-famous exhibition, students had the opportunity to closely examine the bodies of real animals that died naturally, prepared and preserved by the plastination method. Body World, which offers a study on the biology, anatomy and physiology of animals, provided students with a deeper understanding of the anatomy and diversity of animals. After visiting this exhibition, which is extremely important for students' vision, academic knowledge and career development, the Museum of Islamic Civilizations of the Presidency of the Republic of Turkey National Palaces Presidency, where the sacred relics of Islamic Civilization are also exhibited, was also visited. In this museum, students had the opportunity to examine more than six hundred artifacts selected from Topkapı Palace, Palaces Collections, Istanbul Archeology, Istanbul Tombs, Foundations and Turkish and Islamic Arts museums, covering the period from the VIIth century to the XIXth century. Finally, the tour team went to Nakkaştepe National Garden, which is spread over an area of ninety thousand square meters under Üsküdar Municipality, and took a souvenir photo with a Bosphorus view.
