9th National Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Congress Hosted by PAU
"9th National Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Congress" was held on October 26-28, 2023 hosted by Pamukkale University (PAU) Faculty of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation of Turkish Physiotherapists Association.
Speaking at the opening of the congress program, Dean of the Faculty of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Prof. Dr. Ummuhan Baş Aslan stated the following: "The aim of the congress is to 'share' the developments, 'commemorate' what we experienced in the earthquake disaster and 'celebrate' our Republic. Developing technology in the world and in our country, negative changes in nutritional habits, increasingly sedentary life of our society, increasing diseases, prolonged life span make the development of the physiotherapist profession inevitable today and in the future. Distinguished speakers who are experts in their fields participating in the congress will contribute to the development of our profession by sharing their knowledge, experiences, projects, innovations and evidence-based results about their fields with us. One of the most important factors affecting the development of a profession is the training of physiotherapists with professional knowledge, skills and competence. Physiotherapy and rehabilitation education will also be discussed in our congress. I would like to thank everyone who contributed to the realization of the congress and wish it to be a productive and successful congress."
Rector Kutluhan "We are very honored that the National Physiotherapy Congress will be held at our University for the second time."
After the opening speeches, Congress President Hacettepe University Faculty Member Prof. Dr. Tülin Düger presented a plaque of appreciation to Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Kutluhan for his contributions to the organization of the congress.
