“Web-Based Artificial Intelligence Applications in Agriculture” Training Completed at PAÜ
Hosted by Pamukkale University (PAÜ) Çal Vocational School (Çal MYO), the “Digital Transformation in Agriculture: Web-Based Artificial Intelligence Applications Training” was held online within the scope of the TÜBİTAK 2237-A Scientific Training Activities Support Program.
The training program, coordinated by Lecturer Dr. Ezgi Okan Arıkan, comprehensively addressed digital transformation processes in the agricultural sector, artificial intelligence technologies, and the sectoral use of web-based artificial intelligence applications. Conducted through digital platforms with the contributions of academics and trainers who are experts in their fields, the program provided participants with the opportunity not only to gain theoretical knowledge but also to experience current artificial intelligence tools through hands-on practice. The project aimed to increase participants’ knowledge and awareness in the fields of digital agriculture and artificial intelligence and to guide them in using these technologies effectively in their academic and professional work. The online training program, which brought together participants from different regions, concluded with a closing session and well wishes.
Emphasizing the importance of students taking an active role in scientific projects and in the organization of such comprehensive training programs for their professional development, the Çal Vocational School Administration expressed its appreciation to the students Cemile Şirin, Elifnur Uludağ, Atakan Gizlenci, and Emrullah Gökgöz for their dedicated efforts in ensuring that the organization proceeded smoothly from beginning to end. The Administration also expressed its thanks to the project team, particularly the project coordinator, Lecturer Dr. Ezgi Okan Arıkan, who made the project possible, to the expert trainers who shared their valuable knowledge, and to TÜBİTAK for its support.
