Students Discovered Pamukkale Technopark in Science Café Event

Within the scope of Pamukkale University (PAU) Science Communication Coordination Office’s “Science Café” activities, students from Ülker Yörükoğlu Science and Art Center (BİLSEM) took part in a technical visit to Pamukkale University Technopark. The event connected young talents with the entrepreneurship ecosystem, intellectual property rights, and the university’s innovation infrastructure.

At the opening of the program, Abdulkadir Kodal, representative of the Intellectual and Industrial Property Rights unit of Pamukkale Technopark TTO A.Ş., delivered a comprehensive presentation on the structure of the Technopark, its facilities, and ongoing activities. Following the session on patents, utility models, trademarks, and design rights, Yağmur Kenel from NCT Robotics shared insights into projects conducted within the company. Later, Yusuf Koca, captain of the Pamukkale University TEKNOFEST “Hazar Rocket Team,” and team members presented their ongoing projects.

The technical visit was further enriched with a special meeting held in front of the TEKNOFEST Achievement Awards display at the Technopark entrance. The Hazar Rocket Team members shared their project experiences, offering inspiration through their development journey and achievements.

In the final part of the program, visitors toured TeknoGaraj, a collaborative production space open to entrepreneurs and student teams. Kerim Yüksel, captain of the “Novapa Advanced Technology Team,” introduced their projects in this area. The event concluded with students experiencing a flight simulator, providing them with hands-on interaction with technology.
