PAU Nursing Students Discuss the Future at University Event
The “2nd Nursing Student Workshop,” organized in collaboration between the Department of Nursing at Pamukkale University (PAU) Faculty of Health Sciences and the Nursing Unity and Awareness Community operating under the Health, Culture and Sports Department, was held with strong participation.
Held under the theme “Learning, Producing and Transforming Nursing Students,” the workshop brought together academics and students to shed light on the future of the nursing profession. In her speech, Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences Prof. Dr. Sevgi Özkan emphasized the importance of qualified and well-trained human resources in improving the quality of healthcare services. She also highlighted that the ongoing accreditation process in nursing education represents an important step toward enhancing educational quality.
The event also addressed the transformative impact of artificial intelligence and digital technologies in healthcare. Participants noted that AI has a wide range of applications, from patient care processes to clinical decision support systems, emphasizing the growing importance of digital literacy and technological adaptability in nursing education.
Throughout the workshop, students exchanged ideas through various sessions and discussions, contributing to their professional development. The program concluded with acknowledgments to contributing academics and participants, and it was noted that the 2nd Nursing Student Workshop was both productive and inspiring.
