PAU Architecture Students Return with 6 Awards from Idea Competition

Pamukkale University (PAU) Architecture and Design Faculty (MTF) Architecture Department students won a total of 6 awards, 3 jury awards and 3 incentive awards, in the idea competition organized by Istinye University with the title named "A Teahouse on the Kadıköy Breakwater".
The works of PAU Architecture Department students who participated in the competition; Ahmet Kafa, Semih Seven, Mert Sevük, Orhan Akkaya, Sude Demir, Gizem Melike Biçer, Yasemin Yörük, Simay Turan and Şebnem Peker were among the projects that were awarded.
The projects put forward are built on the concepts of 'lighthouse' and 'breakwater' that are brought together on an endless platform in order to break and reshape the usual shape of the breakwater, and the way people spend time on the water, socialize and enjoy the view of Istanbul.
