Rector Güngör Inaugurates the “Dr. Yüksel Bayram Food Laboratory” at Çal Vocational School

The recently established laboratory at Çal Vocational School (Çal MYO) has been named in honor of Lecturer Dr. Yüksel Bayram, a faculty member of the Food Processing Department’s Food Technology Program, who passed away earlier this year.

The opening ceremony of the “Dr. Yüksel Bayram Food Laboratory” was attended by Pamukkale University (PAU) Rector Prof. Dr. Mahmud Güngör, Çal MYO Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Özkan Özbek, academic and administrative staff, and the family of the late Dr. Yüksel Bayram.

In his speech, Rector Prof. Dr. Güngör highlighted Dr. Bayram’s dedication as both an esteemed academic and an exemplary individual, emphasizing that his contributions to Çal MYO and Pamukkale University will always be remembered with respect. He noted that naming the laboratory after Dr. Bayram is a testament to the love and admiration felt for him and extended his condolences to the family and loved ones.

Following the inauguration, attendees toured the laboratory, and a commemorative tree was planted in Dr. Yüksel Bayram’s memory. Rector Güngör also met with Çal MYO students to discuss educational processes and engage in an informal conversation about their studies.
