Res. Assist. Dr. Ceren Tekin Karagöz said: “Asystole is the name given to heart contraction failure in medicine. In my work, I wanted to draw attention to the contrast between the size of the mountains and the human being in a world that is coming to an end similar to the halting of heart rhythm. Like many people in the world, I have concerns about the future of the world. I think a sustainable future cannot be achieved unless one can act. The mountains actually remind us of how weak a person is physically, with their harsh appearance. I think it can be seen more clearly that a globalized civilization is on the way to devalue the planet and self-destruct. I am in an effort to invite to reflect on the relationship between the world and human in my works."
