Pamukkale University continues its efforts to bring scientific knowledge and sectoral experience together, develop innovative solutions, and strengthen the societal and sectoral contribution of higher education through collaborations developed with national and international stakeholders. The cooperation with ASELSANNET within the VITAL Project carried out under Erasmus+ is also intended to contribute to project activities, knowledge transfer, and university-industry interaction in line with this approach.

Within the scope of the VITAL (Vocational Innovation and Training for Animal Livestock) Project carried out by Pamukkale University under Erasmus+, the protocol signed with ASELSANNET aims to strengthen sector-stakeholder cooperation in the project activities. Under the agreement, ASELSANNET will take part in the VITAL Project as an “Associated Partner.” With the Memorandum of Understanding, Pamukkale University and ASELSANNET aim to contribute to the dissemination of project results, increase stakeholder participation, develop industry cooperation, support innovation and knowledge transfer, and contribute to the sustainability of the project.

ASELSANNET to Provide Technical Contribution to the Project in Digital Technologies

Within the scope of the VITAL Project, it is planned to benefit particularly from ASELSANNET’s knowledge and experience in the fields of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Big Data Analytics, and Digital Decision Support Systems. Accordingly, ASELSANNET is expected to participate in technical meetings, workshops, seminars, and similar activities to be carried out within the project; contribute to the evaluation of concepts and methodologies related to artificial intelligence and relevant digital technologies; and share its sectoral experience with the project partners.

The agreement also aims to ensure that project outputs reach relevant stakeholders, contribute to dissemination activities, and share industrial feedback regarding vocational education and training activities.

Contribution to University-Industry Cooperation

The cooperation between Pamukkale University and ASELSANNET provides an important basis for strengthening the exchange of knowledge and experience between the university and the industry. The VITAL Project aims to develop new-generation vocational education approaches in the livestock sector, create innovative educational content in areas such as digitalization, environmentally friendly production, and animal welfare, and develop cooperation between educational institutions and the industry. With ASELSANNET joining the project as an “Associated Partner,” it is expected to contribute by reflecting sectoral knowledge and experience, particularly in digital technologies and artificial intelligence, in the project activities and by bringing project outputs together with areas of application.
