The training titled “Century’s Education Model,” organized by the Child Development Program at Pamukkale University Denizli Vocational School of Health Services (DSHMYO), was held with the participation of Child Development Program students.

The training, held at DSHMYO, was delivered by Expert Teacher Çiğdem Kıyak, who works at Hasan Veli Üğür Kindergarten. Within the scope of the training, students were informed about the fundamental approach of the Türkiye Century Education Model and its reflections on the preschool education process. The implementation of the model in educational processes in line with children’s developmental characteristics, a child-centered and holistic approach to education, and a skills-oriented approach were discussed.

Expert Teacher Çiğdem Kıyak shared her knowledge and experience in the field of preschool education with the students and made evaluations regarding current educational approaches. The students also had the opportunity to relate the knowledge they acquired during the training to their professional fields. The training, which contributed to the professional development of Child Development Program students, helped them gain awareness of current approaches in preschool education and support their theoretical knowledge with practice-oriented information.
