In a statement on the matter, Rector Prof. Dr. Mahmud Güngör said: “First of all, I would like to thank our benefactor who has undertaken the furnishing of our Central Laboratory to be built for our Faculty of Medicine Hospital. In our three-story laboratory building, which we will construct in front of the blue building of the Faculty of Medicine, biochemistry, microbiology, and tissue typing studies will be conducted. Our tender for the building of the central laboratory, which is expected to perform approximately 4,000–4,500 tests per day, has been completed. God willing, our construction will be finished by the end of the year.”
