Career and Future Vision in the Finance and Accounting Profession Panel Held

The “Career and Future Vision in the Finance and Accounting Profession Panel,” organized by the Finance Program of the Department of Finance, Banking and Insurance at Pamukkale University (PAU) Acıpayam Vocational School (Acıpayam MYO), was held with strong participation.

The panel featured Pamukkale University Vice Rector and Head of the Department of Financial Law at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Prof. Dr. Ersan Öz, Denizli Tax Office Director Mustafa Özdemirci, and Certified Public Accountant and Member of the Acıpayam Vocational School Advisory Board Halim Vardar as speakers. During the panel, which was organized to contribute to the professional development of students, evaluations were made regarding the future of the finance and accounting professions, the digital transformation experienced in the sector, career opportunities in the public and private sectors, and professional experiences.

In addition to teachers and students from Acıpayam Vocational School and Çamlık Commercial Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, certified public accountants and financial advisors operating in the district also attended the panel. Participants shared their professional experiences with the students and provided important advice regarding career planning. The program continued with the presentation of certificates of appreciation to the speakers following the question-and-answer session.

At the end of the event, awards were presented to the students who ranked in the “Strong Future” award-winning painting competition organized in cooperation with the Pamukkale University Acıpayam Vocational School Social and Cultural Activities Community and the Finance Program. In the competition held within the scope of the 37th Tax Week, among the students of Çamlık Commercial Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, Fatmagül Demir won first place, Zeynep Karacalı second place, and Hazel Kapusuz third place. Among the students of the Finance Program at Pamukkale University Acıpayam Vocational School, Sahra Ilgın won first place, while Dudu Göker came second and Ayşe Karan third.
