TÜBİTAK Project Experience Sharing Meeting Held at PAU

A TÜBİTAK 1001-1002-3005 Projects Experience Sharing Meeting was held by the Project Support Office of Pamukkale University (PAU) at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences (FEAS) B Block Conference Hall with the participation of academic staff and graduate students.

At the meeting organized by the Pamukkale University Project Support Office, faculty members with project experience from different fields of science shared their experiences regarding TÜBİTAK projects under the moderation of Deputy Head of the Project Support Office Associate Professor Uğur Akkoç.

In the opening of the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Uğur Akkoç stated that this was the second project meeting organized by the PAU Project Support Office this year and expressed that they aim to continue such training and experience-sharing meetings tailored to different project types.

At the meeting, Associate Professor Uğur Akkoç delivered a presentation titled “TÜBİTAK Project Application Documents,” providing detailed information about TÜBİTAK project application documents and the points to consider when preparing projects.

Professor Hakan Akça from the Faculty of Medicine explained TÜBİTAK projects from the perspective of an evaluator, focusing on how to construct originality and proposal structure in projects.

One of the panel speakers, Associate Professor İbrahim Çelik from Çal Vocational School, discussed project idea development processes in TÜBİTAK projects and provided detailed information on originality and societal impact.

Assistant Professor Ezgi Atik from the Faculty of Tourism introduced TÜBİTAK’s relatively new project type, 3005–Innovative Solutions in Social Sciences and Humanities Projects, and shared the preparation process of a 3005 project that she led.

The meeting concluded after answering questions from the audience.
