As part of Sector Days, four professional speakers specialized in auditing and finance shared their career journeys and evaluations of their sectors with students. The event, in which four speakers from BDO Türkiye, Ernst & Young, Insider One, and Allianz Türkiye shared their career experiences and sectoral knowledge, concluded with a session where students directed their questions directly to the experts.

The first speaker of the event, Dr. Cahit Evcil, Partner of Labor Law and Social Security at BDO Türkiye, shared the history, service areas, and corporate structure of BDO Türkiye with participants based on his own career experiences.

Dr. Hakkı Demirci, Social Security and Labor Legislation Services Leader at Ernst & Young (EY), explained his career steps and the functioning of the tax department within EY. Demirci also discussed in detail the company’s recruitment processes and the qualifications sought in candidates.

Tuğçe Yemenici, Head of Tax and Accounting at Insider One, shared the role of auditing firms in the business world and the functioning of these institutions. In her presentation, Yemenici not only addressed the general structure of the auditing sector but also informed participants about the corporate structure of Sabancı Holding.

The final speaker, Esra Özman, Group Manager of Health Insurance at Allianz Türkiye, explained how her career evolved into the insurance sector. Özman discussed the general dynamics of the insurance sector and shared with students the structures and positions within the sector of AK Sigorta and Allianz companies.

The event concluded with a question-and-answer session in which students directed their questions to the speakers.
