'From Dowry Chest to the Street'
Within the scope of the project carried out jointly with Pamukkale University and Babadağ Municipality, inspired by the canvases in the dowry chest in Babadağ History, Culture and Art Museum, the houses on the streets of the district were painted white and Babadağ-specific canvas patterns and embroidery were made on them.
Pamukkale University Painting and Art Education students drew the patterns of canvases found in dowry chests on the streets of Babadağ with the project 'From Dowry Chest to Street'. These patterns contributed to the revival of the tangible cultural heritage, which is the handicraft of the district, and to reach immortality by coming together with art. The project, which revitalized the people of the district and the tourism of the district, contributed to the university-city meeting with the award it received.
