Pamukkale University (PAU) Dining Halls were opened by Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Kutluhan. Making a statement on the subject, Rector Kutluhan shared his happiness that PAU Dining Halls will cook their own meals.

Rector Kutluhan: “In our dining hall; we have completed the infrastructure for making more hygienic and better meals by building separate compartments for cooking, baking, dishwashing areas and the oven, and placing a camera in each."

Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Kutluhan made a statement to the press about the issue in the kitchens of PAU Dining Halls and noted the following: “We reorganized our dining hall. We made it more functional and more hygienic. It used to be here with the bakery. We separated the oven and the dishwasher. In our dining hall; We completed the infrastructure for making more hygienic and better meals by building separate compartments for cooking, cooking, dishwashing areas and the oven, and placing a camera in each of them. As you know, the food has been coming out of our own cafeteria for a week and ten days. So we checked the quality and removability of the dishes and found that the friends succeeded. The pandemic we have experienced and the February 6 earthquakes we have experienced have shown us that it is important for institutions, especially large institutions, to cook their own food. Our university buildings are younger. I hope not, but when there is an earthquake in Denizli, we want to be ready, just like in Malatya. This happened very seriously in Malatya. Since the cafeteria of the university in Malatya remained intact, daily meals were served morning, noon and evening. One hundred thousand dishes were brought out for each meal. He made a huge contribution. I hope Denizli will not experience such an earthquake, but the world has many situations. First of all, we wanted to provide quality and affordable food to our students and to utilize our staff at our university, because we have chefs at our university. They were evaluated in different places. "We are reorganizing this cafeteria to evaluate them and make our students happier."

Rector Kutluhan: “We set out by calculating that between six thousand and eight thousand of our students would eat.”

“Now, as we talked about at the beginning of the meal, we were purchasing our food from a vocational high school in Akköy, which you know was a service purchase. They also made a great contribution to the construction of this dining hall. Because our new Minister of National Education wanted meals to be provided to his students, our Provincial Directorate of National Education allowed us to do so until New Year's Eve. So we completed this. Now, we have made our preparations here according to the number of meals our student eats, which can correspond to fifteen thousand. But currently, under the current conditions, I have seen it happen at most four thousand, four thousand five hundred, five thousand five hundred times. "We set out again, calculating that there would be between six thousand and eight thousand meals, and that our students would choose them."
