Gastronomy-Tourism Congress Organized in Cooperation with Samarkand Silk Road International Tourism University and PAU

Presentations on innovation and sustainability were made at the gastronomy-tourism congress for humanity and the earth in cooperation with Pamukkale University at the Silk Road Tourism and Civilization-Heritage International University in Samarkand.

The congress was attended by officials from Turkey, Indonesia, Belarus, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan and Belarus.

At the conference, which took place at the Silk Road Tourism and Civilization-Heritage International University in Samarkand, issues on innovation and sustainability of gastronomy-tourism congress for humanity and the earth were discussed.

Pamukkale University Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Kutluhan, the partner of the conference, said in his speech: "The primary purpose of the gastronomy congress organized by Silk Road University and Pamukkale University is to improve the cooperation between the two universities. Thus, we have taken the first step of the agreement between these two universities. Our second purpose is that Samarkand is a city that receives a lot of tourists, and since Denizli is also a city that receives a lot of tourists, our foreign guests who come to a country with developed tourism first give a grade to the city by looking at the gastronomic development in that region. The aim of this international conference is to improve the gastronomic tourism of the tourists who come to visit."

Speaking at the conference, First Vice Rector of the Silk Road International University of Tourism and Civilization-Heritage Joriboy Yoltanazarov reported on the problems to be solved in their country and in the field of tourism, especially in the field of gastronomic tourism. Rector Yoltanazarov: "One of the most important key points of tourism is this gastronomy, food and food safety. That is why we organized this international conference together with Pamukkale University of the Republic of Turkey. At this conference on tourism, we will discuss the issues of food tourism and food safety, which is one of the most important areas of tourism, with scientists from Turkey, scientists from Indonesia and other scientists, and their recommendations in this area will be accepted at the conference and will be forwarded to people in the tourism sector, in the food sector."

At the international meeting, the participants were informed about the work done in the field of gastronomic tourism development in Indonesia, Belarus. Experts who implemented these experiences gave various recommendations. The recommendations and projects discussed at the meeting started to be analyzed.

Cooperation Protocol Signed between Samarkand State University and Pamukkale Technocity

Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Kutluhan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Pamukkale Technocity and Prof. Dr. Khalmuradov Rustam Ibragimovich, Rector of Samarkand State University signed a cooperation protocol between Samarkand State University and Pamukkale Technocity.
