DSHMYO Students Organize "March 8 International Women's Day" Event

In the March 8 International Women's Day event organized by Pamukkale University (PAU) Denizli Vocational School of Health Services (DSHMYO) students; women's rights, women of science and gender inequality were discussed.
PAU DSHMYO students organized a "March 8 International Women's Day" event within the scope of Gender Equality course of Lect. Bengisu Belirdi Özkurt. In the event organized by volunteer students; women's rights, women of science and gender inequality were discussed.
The event started with information about women's rights. Then, students performed a reenactment introducing Turkish women of science. After providing enlightening information about gender inequality, a video prepared by the students emphasizing inequality in language was shown. The program ended with a choral concert by all the students who took part in the event. Both students and DSHMYO faculty members had fun moments together during the choral concert.
DSHMYO students showed how well-equipped and qualified they are in their field with this event they prepared using the theoretical knowledge they have acquired.
