12.12.2023
Pamukkale University (PAU) Rectorate, Denizli Mufti's Office and Turkish Religious Foundation Denizli Branch organized a charity bazaar called "Charity Bazaar for Gaza" and Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Kutluhan visited the stands in the bazaar.
Rector Kutluhan: "As a university, we strive to do everything we can"
Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Kutluhan, who made a speech at the bazaar, which started with the recitation of the Holy Quran and all of the income to be obtained will be donated to Gaza, said: "Pamukkale University has condemned this atrocity with the unanimous decision of the Senate since the beginning of the Israeli persecution and has expressed all kinds of sensitivity through the press. We come together with our Palestinian students as much as we can and ask what we can do for them. They only ask for our prayers. We follow them in the media, our brothers and sisters there also ask for our prayers. I find it difficult to understand what kind of a world we live in and what kind of a test we are facing. God Almighty will save us from this calamity as soon as possible. As a university, we have always shared with the public that we are trying to do everything we can. This bazaar is also admirable as a response to our efforts to do everything we can as #PAU. I would like to thank the organizers of the bazaar, I would like to thank all our Provincial Mufti's Office in the presence of Mr. Mufti, and I wish it to be auspicious."
After the prayer performed by Denizli Mufti Abdullah Pamuklu, Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Kutluhan visited the stands in the bazaar, thanked the contributors and wished them a good and abundant profit.
