TUBITAK and Project Training for Students at Honaz Vocational School
A training titled “An Overview of TUBITAK, KOSGEB, and Development Agency Projects” was organized at Pamukkale University (PAU) Honaz Vocational School (Honaz MYO).
The training, organized by the Department of Accounting and Tax Applications and held on April 15 at the Honaz Vocational School Conference Hall, was attended by school administrators, academic staff, and students.
In the training seminar delivered by Dr. Hamza Kocatepe, Managing Partner and Business Development Specialist of Netrevat Bilişim R&D company, topics such as project idea development, needs analysis processes, and the general structure of project funding sources were explained. Information was provided to participants about Erasmus projects and the TUBITAK 2209-A University Students Research Projects Support Program. The seminar also covered the support mechanisms provided by KOSGEB and Regional Development Agencies, aiming to develop students’ innovative thinking skills, increase their project production capacity, and enable them to effectively benefit from national and international funding sources.
Honaz Vocational School Director Dr. Lecturer Necla İrem İri stated that, in line with the vision of Pamukkale University Rectorate, they aim for students to take part in national and international projects, especially TUBITAK projects, and emphasized that it is important for students to become acquainted with a project culture and conduct research- and project-oriented studies.
