TÜBİTAK 2209 Student Projects Information Meeting Held at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences
An information meeting on the TÜBİTAK 2209-A Research Projects Support Program for University Students was held at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences (FEAS) of Pamukkale University (PAU).
The event, held at the Şehit Bekir Can Kerek Conference Hall, was attended by academic staff and numerous students. The meeting began with an opening speech by Emre Şerif Turgut, who provided information about the purpose, scope, and opportunities of the TÜBİTAK 2209-A program, emphasizing the importance of promoting a research culture at the undergraduate level.
Assistant Professor Asiye Kamber Kıvcı from the Department of Labor Economics and Industrial Relations delivered a presentation on research design and project application processes. Sharing examples from a project she had previously conducted, Kıvcı highlighted key points to consider for a successful application.
In the final session, students Mine Kılıç and Çağla Geçici, whose TÜBİTAK 2209-A projects had been accepted, shared their experiences. They discussed the challenges they faced and the benefits they gained during the project preparation process, offering advice to students planning to apply.
The meeting concluded with a Q&A session, aiming to enhance students’ interest in scientific research and raise awareness about TÜBİTAK support programs.
