The Pamukkale University Photography Community (PAÜFOT), which has been organizing trips since 2022 to observe and experience the Bursa International Photography Festival (BURSAFOTOFEST)—one of the most important international events in the field of photographic art—offers students the opportunity to observe the cultural, artistic, and documentary aspects of photography on an international platform through these trips. Within the scope of the organized trips, students who experience the festival environment gain the opportunity to visit exhibitions by national and international photographers, participate in workshops and conferences, acquire knowledge from experts in the field, and gain practical experience by taking photographs in the city center. It is also aimed to share the photographs and experiences obtained after the event with other students through presentations, exhibitions, and sharing events to be organized at Pamukkale University.

 

In 2025, the photographs of PAÜFOT Board Member student Ahsen Aygören and Advisor Dr. Faculty Member Bekir İnce, who applied to the BURSAFOTOFEST “open call exhibition” system, were deemed worthy of exhibition at the 15th Bursa International Photography Festival held between December 12, 2025, and January 12, 2026. The trip organized by PAÜFOT to BURSAFOTOFEST in 2025 thus became more meaningful on behalf of PAU and the community.
