Talk on “The Trace of Dreams Remains” Held at Honaz Vocational School
A conference titled “The Trace of Dreams Remains” was held at Pamukkale University (PAU) Honaz Vocational School (Honaz VS).
Kâmil Orhan from the Department of Labor Economics and Industrial Relations at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences (FEAS) of Pamukkale University met with students, academic staff, and administrative personnel at the Honaz Vocational School Hatice Gülşen Çetin Conference Hall during the event.
In the program, the importance of dreams in individuals’ career journeys, goal-setting processes, and the impact of personal motivation on success were discussed. Prof. Dr. Orhan provided students with advice to guide them throughout their student life. In addition, the functioning of the brain and its effects on behavior, as well as the role of the power of thought in achieving success, were addressed within the framework of scientific findings. It was conveyed to students with examples that a positive mindset increases motivation, and that goal-oriented mental processes are an important determinant in achieving success. Furthermore, it was emphasized that failures should be considered as learning opportunities, and that patience and perseverance are crucial for long-term success.
The Director of Honaz Vocational School, Assistant Professor Necla İrem İri, presented a certificate of appreciation to Prof. Dr. Kâmil Orhan, thanking him for sharing valuable information that will be important for students in both their professional and personal lives.
