Sectoral Meeting on Individual Pension System (BES) and Life Insurance Held at Bekilli MYO
An important event was held at Pamukkale University (PAU) Bekilli Vocational School (Bekilli MYO) Banking and Insurance Program to enhance students’ sectoral knowledge and awareness. The session took place on May 11 in the Banking and Insurance classroom with the participation of Anadolu Hayat Emeklilik Future Planning Specialist Ceren Ala Tutaş.
During the lecture, the Individual Pension System (BES) and the importance of life insurance were discussed in detail. Ceren Ala Tutaş provided comprehensive information on the development of BES in Türkiye, how the system operates, government contribution advantages for participants, and its role in promoting long-term savings awareness. She also highlighted the role of life insurance in providing financial security for individuals and families.
The event, which attracted strong interest from students, also covered career opportunities in the sector and current industry practices. Participants had the opportunity to directly ask questions to the industry representative.
Officials stated that such events are highly important for strengthening students’ theoretical knowledge and helping them better understand the sector. The program concluded with a group photo taken in memory of the event.
