At the meeting, where Coordinator Assoc. Prof. Dr. Onur Kulaç gave a detailed presentation and answered questions, the performance of the International Relations Coordination Office was reviewed. According to the 2025 Erasmus+ project results, PAU, which has achieved significant successes in the field of internationalization, made a strong rise in the international arena with its rankings in both the Erasmus+ KA131 project involving student and staff mobility with European Union (EU) countries, and the Erasmus+ KA171 program covering exchange programs with non-EU countries. PAU also participated in the International Week Meeting hosted by Durban University of Technology in South Africa, having made its first contact with Durban University of Technology representatives last month at a summit in Istanbul organized in cooperation with the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) and Times Higher Education. During the meeting, an exchange of views was held on issues of interest to both the coordination office staff and Rector Prof. Dr. Mahmud Güngör.
