Rector Prof. Dr. Mahmud Güngör presented laptops to be used in their academic studies to Prof. Dr. Erkan Yüce, Head of the Department of Electronics at the Faculty of Engineering, Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering; Prof. Dr. Şaban Nazlıoğlu, Head of the Department of International Trade at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of International Trade and Finance; and Dr. Çağın Karul, faculty member of the Department of Econometrics at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, in recognition of their academic achievements.

Prof. Dr. Erkan Yüce, in addition to being a recipient of the TÜBİTAK Science Award, has made significant contributions to Pamukkale University through the international projects he has led, his publications, and the students he has trained. Prof. Dr. Şaban Nazlıoğlu and Dr. Çağın Karul were deemed worthy of the award for their study published in the journal Econometric Reviews, which received the highest number of citations in the last three years.
