PAU Students Participate in the Finals of the 2025 NASA International Space Apps Challenge

Students from Pamukkale University (PAU) Faculty of Education, Department of Science Education—Hatice Karaağaç, Arzu Çelik, Ümmü Ceylan, Özge Özen—and 11th-grade student Kaan Can from Erbakır Science High School, under the guidance of Faculty of Education lecturer Prof. Dr. Bilge Can, competed in the finals of the 2025 NASA International Space Apps Challenge.

The final, hosted by Akşehir Municipality from October 3-5, featured a 36-hour marathon during which the team successfully presented their project. Speaking about the event, Prof. Dr. Bilge Can stated:

“The event brought together 20 teams and 110 participants to develop inspiring solutions on space, environment, and technology themes. During this process, our students combined teamwork, creativity, problem-solving, and scientific thinking skills, gaining a valuable experience. I congratulate all our students, who advance in the light of science, as well as all the instructors who guided them.”
