The Obesity Team of PAU Hospitals visited the Pamukkale Healthy Life Center on June 19, 2026, with the aim of strengthening inter-institutional cooperation, examining preventive healthcare services on site, and evaluating collaboration opportunities in obesity management.

The visit was attended by Lecturer Dr. Hilmiye Pakyürek, Psychologist Ayben Baylar Doğan, Dietitian Elvan Nalçacı, Nurse Serpil Bayar, and Nurse Gamze Yağız from the PAU Obesity Team.

At the Pamukkale Healthy Life Center, Responsible Physician Dr. Zehra Özyamaç Konuk and Specialist Dr. Zeynep Taş provided comprehensive information about the center’s functioning, services provided, and operational units.

Within the scope of the visit, the follow-up processes of individuals living with obesity, the importance of a multidisciplinary approach, and practices aimed at improving the effectiveness of preventive healthcare services were evaluated. During the meeting, views were exchanged on developing inter-institutional cooperation in obesity management, increasing knowledge and experience sharing, and potential areas of joint work.
