PAU Department of Finance to Host the 40th International Finance Symposium
The Department of Finance at Pamukkale University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, which successfully organized the 20th Finance Symposium in 2005, will once again host a major gathering after 20 years by organizing the 40th International Finance Symposium in 2026.
The International Finance Symposium, one of Türkiye’s most established scientific organizations, makes significant contributions to the development of the field of finance by enabling the evaluation of education and training provided in finance departments across Türkiye and addressing key topics in the discipline. Organized each year through the efforts of a different university’s finance department, these symposia also play an important role in bringing together members of the finance community — including academics from universities and bureaucrats from various public institutions — fostering mutual recognition and collaboration. Over the years, the symposium has evolved into a platform where prominent topics in the field of finance are discussed.
Since 2017, the symposium has been held under the name “International Finance Symposium / Türkiye,” opening its doors to international participation. This expansion allows academics, bureaucrats, and practitioners from Türkiye to come together with scholars from around the world to discuss a wide range of issues in the field of finance. By fostering international collaboration and knowledge exchange among finance scholars, the symposium contributes to the universal production of knowledge in our country.
At the 39th International Finance Symposium, held in Kemer, Antalya between October 23–26 this year, the General Assembly consisting of finance scholars decided that the Department of Finance at Pamukkale University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences would organize the next symposium.
