PAU and the United States Join Academic Forces: 34 New Departments with West Virginia University
Pamukkale University (PAU) continues to expand its academic collaborations in line with its goals of internationalization and becoming a research university. In this context, PAU has signed an academic cooperation agreement with West Virginia University, one of the long-established research universities of the United States (U.S.), covering 34 new departments.
Holding Research University (R1) status, West Virginia University stands out among universities with its scientific research capacity and experience in international projects. The university is listed in international rankings such as CWTS Leiden Ranking and QS World University Rankings, and also attracts attention within the Nature Index, particularly for its studies in the field of health sciences.
PAU’s international academic network grows stronger
Through this cooperation, Pamukkale University’s international academic network in education, research, joint project development, and academic publishing is expected to be further strengthened, while increasing opportunities for multi-partner research projects and access to international funding sources.
