In the program held on May 12, following the laying of a wreath at the Atatürk Monument, a moment of silence was observed and the Turkish National Anthem was sung. At the ceremony, which saw high participation, the dedication, self-sacrifice, and life-touching aspects of the nursing profession were once again emphasized.
At the ceremony, nurses of Pamukkale University Hospitals represented the responsibilities they undertake in all areas of healthcare services and the honor of the profession. The event contributed to strengthening the sense of professional unity and solidarity.
Following the program, nurses working in different units had the opportunity to come together and socialize at a breakfast event. Healthcare workers, who are not always able to meet due to their busy schedules, strengthened professional solidarity and enjoyed being together in a pleasant environment during this gathering.
It was stated by the Nursing Services Directorate that the events organized within the scope of Nursing Week will continue throughout the week and aim to strengthen professional solidarity and institutional belonging.
