In commemoration of Organ Donation Week, an information and awareness booth was opened at the outpatient clinic entrance of PAU Hospitals. The opening was attended by PAU Hospitals Deputy Chief Physicians Prof. Dr. Muhammet Arslan and Prof. Dr. Nusret Ök, Chief Administrative Officer Dr. Murat Taşer, Hospital Directors, Director of the Organ Transplant Center Prof. Dr. Onur Birsen, Organ Transplant Coordinator Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aslı Mete Yıldız, Nursing Services Directorate, Assistant Organ Transplant Coordinators, numerous healthcare professionals, as well as patients and their relatives.

During the event, participants were informed about the importance of organ donation, and those who wished to donate their organs received their donor cards.

Emphasizing that organ donation means a new lease on life for patients whose treatment is only possible through transplantation, the event—held under the slogan “One Donation, Many Lives”—invited citizens to become organ donors and help save lives.
