“Mobbing Awareness Training” Conducted at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences
A new addition has been made to Pamukkale University’s (PAU) internal awareness initiatives, which provide significant support for strengthening a healthy and safe working environment. Within the scope of the in-service training program coordinated by the PAU Personnel Department, a “Mobbing Awareness Training” was conducted.
At the opening of the program, Prof. Dr. Hülya Kabakçı Karadeniz, Head of the Psychological Harassment (Mobbing) Support Unit, provided participants with brief information about herself and the scope of activities of the Psychological Harassment Support Unit.
Held at the Prof. Dr. İsmail Çetişli Conference Hall of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (ITBF), the training by Prof. Dr. Kâmil Orhan covered the definition of psychological harassment (mobbing) in the workplace, institutional responsibilities, and the importance of raising awareness. The training concluded interactively with a question-and-answer session where participants’ inquiries were addressed.
The program, hosted by the İTBF Faculty Dean’s Office with the participation of Vice Deans Prof. Dr. Ercan Haytoğlu and Assistant Professor Zeynep Erdoğan Yıldırım, ended with the presentation of a certificate of appreciation and a gift to Prof. Dr. Kâmil Orhan by Dr. Erdoğan Yıldırım, who is also a Board Member of the Psychological Harassment Support Unit. Prof. Dr. Kâmil Orhan thanked the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences’ administration, academic, and administrative staff for their support and hosting of the Mobbing Awareness Training.
