Midday Seminar on “The Contributions and Unforeseen Future of Artificial Intelligence” Held at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences

As part of the Midday Seminar Series organized by Pamukkale University (PAU) Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences (FEAS), an event titled “The Contributions and Unforeseen Future of Artificial Intelligence” was held.

The seminar series, organized by PAU FEAS to bring together undergraduate and graduate students with faculty members to strengthen the intellectual community and enhance academic interaction, hosted this session on Thursday, October 30, in the Şehit Piyade Teğmen Bekir Can Kerek Conference Hall located in FEAS A Block. The speaker of the seminar was Professor Selçuk Burak Haşıloğlu, Head of the Department of Management Information Systems at Pamukkale University.

Professor Haşıloğlu discussed the social, economic, and ethical dimensions of artificial intelligence technologies, emphasizing that these rapidly developing technologies could have unpredictable impacts in the future. The presentation also explored a wide range of AI applications, from decision-making processes in business to advancements in education and healthcare.
