Meaningful Support from Denizli Regional Directorate of Forestry for PAU Hospitals’ Organ Donation Week
Denizli Regional Director of Forestry Ahmet Köle participated in and supported the Organ Donation Week events organized by Pamukkale University (PAU) Hospitals.
Director Köle visited the organ donation stand set up at the hospital’s
outpatient clinic entrance. To raise awareness, he personally made an organ
donation and hung a green heart on the symbolic “Tree of Life.”
Director Köle was welcomed by PAU Hospitals
Deputy Chief Physician Assoc. Prof. Dr. Atakan Yılmaz, Organ Transplant
Coordinator Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aslı Mete Yıldız, Chief Administrative Officer Dr.
Murat Taşer, Hospital Director Necla Altıntaş, and the Nursing Services
Directorate team.
As
part of the event, the Denizli Regional Directorate of Forestry donated
saplings to be given as gifts to citizens who made organ donations. In this
way, the initiative contributed both to sustaining life through organ donation
and to nurturing new life for nature.
