Major Success from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in TÜBİTAK 2209-A Projects
Students of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (FHSS) at Pamukkale University (PAU) once again demonstrated their success in scientific research and project development following last year’s achievements. Within the scope of the TÜBİTAK 2209-A University Students Research Projects Support Program, 25 projects from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences were awarded support.
The Department of Psychology led the faculty’s research success with 14 projects. The Department of English Language and Literature achieved significant success with 4 projects, while two projects each from the Departments of History and Geography were also accepted for support. In addition, one project each from the Departments of Archaeology, Contemporary Turkish Dialects and Literatures, and Turkish Language and Literature was deemed worthy of support, demonstrating the faculty’s academic productivity across different disciplines.
At the award and certificate presentation ceremony organized in recognition of this important achievement, students whose projects were accepted came together with their academic advisors. Speaking at the ceremony, which was attended by faculty members and students from the relevant departments, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences Prof. Dr. Bilal Söğüt stated that the students’ interest in scientific production and their academic work were a source of pride, and he thanked all students and faculty advisors who contributed to this success.
The ceremony concluded with a cocktail reception following the presentation of certificates of appreciation and gifts to the student project coordinators and their faculty advisors.
