The 2026 private sector edition of Sector Days, organized annually by PAU FEAS with the aim of bringing students’ academic knowledge together with the realities of the business world and supporting pre-graduation professional preparation processes, turned into a platform that brought students together with experienced professionals from different lines of work. Dr. Gamze Solmaz, Human Resources Manager at Tarım Kredi Süt, Esin Güleç, Treasury Manager at Terra Pizza, and Ahmet Solak, Export Marketing Specialist at Nesa Tekstil, shared their career journeys, sectoral experiences, and evaluations of the business world with the students. Dr. Gamze Solmaz, Esin Güleç, and Ahmet Solak shared the starting points of their professional journeys, the sectoral challenges they encountered over time, and the approaches they developed in these processes with the participants. Coming from different areas of expertise such as human resources management, treasury operations, and international marketing, the speakers addressed the competencies required by their respective sectors with concrete examples.

One of the focal points of the event was evaluations regarding the practical reflections of academic education in working life. The speakers discussed, based on their own experiences, which attitudes and skills play a decisive role in building a qualified career. In the question-and-answer session, which saw strong student participation, internship processes, recruitment criteria, and working conditions in different sectors were among the prominent topics. The event concluded with the presentation of appreciation plaques to the guests.
