“Contemporary Art Exhibition” at PAU
Pamukkale University (PAU) Faculty of Education, Department of Fine Arts Education is hosting an art-filled event. The Contemporary Art Exhibition, organized under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Feryal Beykal, was opened on March 10 with the participation of Pamukkale University Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Ersan Öz and Dean of the Faculty of Education Prof. Dr. İzzet Kara.
The “Contemporary Art Exhibition”, consisting of works by undergraduate and graduate studio students under the direction of Prof. Dr. Feryal Beykal, opened its doors to art lovers on March 10. The exhibition, whose preparation process was initiated in reference to the meaning and importance of March 8 International Women’s Day, met the audience on March 10 after a meticulous curation process. The exhibition brings together contemporary interpretations produced by young artist candidates using different techniques and disciplines.
The exhibition, which attracted great interest from Pamukkale University academic staff, students, and the people of Denizli, was highly appreciated by the audience. The exhibition featured works by Arif Tüzün, Aleyna Tunç, Ayşegül Çoşkun, Berfin Şimal Efe, Cennet Baytemir, Ceylin Mang, Dilek E. Karataş, Dudu Hatice Işık, Elif Aradaş, Emine Cengiz, Fatma Çamur, Hidayet Tuğlu, Habib Sivil, İlke Mercan, Mehmet Güneş, Melike Tay, Melek Şahutoğlu, Semih Kambur, Serra Semercioğlu, Sude Nur Aykurt, Sudenaz Akgül, and Ümmü Günay.
The Contemporary Art Exhibition can be visited until March 30 at the Pamukkale University Faculty of Education 100th Year Exhibition Hall.
