Students and academic staff of Honaz Vocational School attended the conference. Topics such as individuals’ decision-making processes, attitude change, mechanisms of social influence, and persuasion strategies were addressed within the framework of psychological science. Participants were particularly informed about the importance of effective communication in daily life, professional life, and social relationships.

During the conference, it was comprehensively discussed that individuals’ decision-making processes are not based solely on rational evaluations, but that emotions, beliefs, and the social environment also play a determining role in this process, and that the persuasion process has a multidimensional and dynamic structure. Dr. Sena Özcan Kalfa stated that people are often exposed to various persuasion techniques without being aware of it, and that being able to analyze these techniques correctly would help individuals make more conscious decisions. The presentation also included up-to-date examples of persuasion methods through advertisements, social media content, and marketing strategies. In the event, where students actively participated, it was emphasized that the psychology of persuasion plays an important role not only in marketing and communication fields but also in leadership, education, negotiation, and human relations. At the end of the seminar, participants had the opportunity to engage in an interactive discussion with the speaker by asking questions about the topics they were curious about.
