Acıpayam Vocational School Lecturer Provided Training at the “Parent Academy”
Lecturer Sefer Demir from the Acıpayam Vocational School (Acıpayam VS) of Pamukkale University (PAU) met with parents in a meaningful educational event during the fifth and final week of the Science and Art Center’s “Parent Academy” program.
As part of the program, a seminar titled “Understanding Attention in Children: Why Does Attention Appear Different in Gifted Children?” was delivered by Fatmanur Öztoklu Durmuş. The training addressed attention development in children, factors affecting attention processes, attention characteristics of gifted children, and the role of families in supporting attention skills.
The seminar, which was followed with great interest by parents, was organized under the coordination of the institution’s guidance counselor, Mahmut Peker. At the end of the program, the “Parent Academy” was officially concluded, and certificates were presented to the parents who participated.
Institution Director Veysel Kırışan thanked Fatmanur Öztoklu Durmuş for her contribution as the speaker and also expressed his gratitude to all parents who participated in the program.
