40th International Symposium on Public Finance Organized by PAU to Receive TÜBİTAK Support

The 40th International Symposium on Public Finance, to be organized by the Department of Public Finance at Pamukkale University (PAU), has been selected for support under the TÜBİTAK 2223-B Domestic Scientific Events Organization Support Program and the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye Financial Support Program for Academic Studies (AÇMDP).

One of Türkiye’s long-established scientific events, the International Symposium on Public Finance will be held for the 40th time this year by the Department of Public Finance at Pamukkale University in Antalya Belek from October 22 to 25. The main theme of the symposium has been determined as “The Reflections of Global Uncertainties and Opportunities on Public Finance,” while academic studies on various topics in the field of public finance will also be addressed as part of the event. Papers will be presented in five different group sessions: Public Finance Theory, Public Finance Law, Public Finance Economics, Budget and Financial Planning, and Young Public Finance Scholars.

Academic Gathering in the Field of Public Finance

As part of the International Symposium on Public Finance, the reflections of global economic developments, uncertainties, and new opportunities on public finance will be evaluated from different perspectives. The symposium, which will be held with the participation of academics from Türkiye and abroad, will serve as an important meeting point for sharing current academic studies in the field of public finance and fostering scientific collaboration.
