The meeting was attended by communication faculties from universities across Türkiye as well as the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. Key topics included academy-industry interactions, artificial intelligence and media content production, ethics, opportunities and risks, quality and accreditation processes in communication faculties, new professions, and the transformation of higher education quotas. Discussions also addressed internships, curriculum transformation, journalism education, infrastructure, and academic staffing issues.

During the opening session, several prominent speakers from academia, regulatory bodies, and industry organizations delivered speeches, emphasizing the importance of collaboration between universities and the sector to address current challenges and shape the future of communication education. The program concluded with the selection of the new ILDEK Executive Board, campus and city visits, and the announcement that the 35th ILDEK meeting will be held at Fırat University in Elazığ.
