An award ceremony was held by the Dean’s Office of Pamukkale University (PAU) Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (FHSS) to recognize the outstanding achievements, services, and contributions of the academic and administrative staff, as well as students of the faculty.

The ceremony commenced with opening speeches delivered by Denizli Governor Ömer Faruk Coşkun and PAU Rector Prof. Dr. Mahmud Güngör.

Dean Prof. Dr. Yasemin Beyazıt: “Encouraging our scholars and students, supporting their initiatives wholeheartedly, and standing by them in difficult times is our foremost duty.”

In her opening address, FHSS Dean Prof. Dr. Yasemin Beyazıt emphasized the importance of acknowledging the efforts of all stakeholders within the university community. She stated:
"Our faculty members and instructors are the heart and soul of our universities. Encouraging their work, supporting their initiatives wholeheartedly, standing by them in difficult times, and sharing in their successes and joys is our foremost duty. Our students and alumni are also a source of great pride. And, of course, we are grateful to our external stakeholders, especially our Governor, who continuously support us. Without them, many of our projects would remain without backing. Our administrative staff also provide invaluable support through their services. For all these reasons, today we aim to reward all these stakeholders. Those who work, produce, innovate, generate projects, and contribute to our institution with dedication are more than deserving of this recognition. I sincerely thank our Governor, our Rector, all members of the protocol, our faculty members, students, and their families for attending. I wholeheartedly congratulate all our award recipients and express my wish that next year, different names will stand where today’s recipients are. I extend my thanks to all academic and administrative personnel, especially our faculty secretary and Rectorate units, for their contributions to this event. With my warmest regards…”

Rector Prof. Dr. Mahmud Güngör: “Achievements are not only personal triumphs but also societal gains.”

PAU Rector Prof. Dr. Mahmud Güngör addressed the audience, stating:
"Today we gather to celebrate and acknowledge the contributions of those who have played a significant role in the advancement of our faculty. Your dedication, perseverance, and sincere efforts continue to strengthen our community. True success is born from a blend of effort and passion. These awards are not only a token of appreciation but also a testament to our belief in your potential and a reflection of our confidence in your future. You carry the name of our faculty and university with pride and add value to our society. Let us not forget that success is not only personal but a societal achievement. Our Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences is a place where knowledge and compassion meet, where diversity is embraced. You are the most valuable part of this ecosystem. Your efforts not only inspire our youth but also bring hope and strength to our society.”
